- $110,000-$140,000 salary

Primary Responsibilities of the Senior Trade Compliance Specialist
- Collaborate with necessary departments to perform transaction processing, due diligence, red flag analysis, complex troubleshooting, training, procedure writing, and managing trade compliance recordkeeping systems.
- Act as the primary focal point for license generation and administration, including technical assistance, manufacturing, and distribution agreements. Responsible for developing, submitting, monitoring, executing, and tracking these agreements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in trade compliance. Continuously increase knowledge and understanding of export compliance and communicate policy changes.
- Transact records in trade compliance information systems (e.g., OCR).
- Perform and analyze transactions where due diligence indicates potential risk.
- Perform analysis and review on commodity and technical information for government jurisdiction and classification.
- Prepare and verify export and import shipping documentation for non-routine shipments.
Qualifications of the Senior Trade Compliance Specialist:
- Can prepare and review international shipping documents (e.g., commercial invoice, packing list, air waybill, export license), including consignee information, INCOTERMS, harmonized tariff code, country of origin, customs value, export classification, and license data.
- Qualification or ability to qualify as an Empowered Official, with knowledge of US export/import regulations including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field with at least six years of experience in Trade Compliance within the Aerospace Industry.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
